Safe Zephyr Turbulence Range?

I am currently sitting at -42% range on my turbulence. I do not use stretch and have a r6 Narrow Minded. So far this has worked for me. What dangers do I face if I completely max out the narrow minded? Will I still deflect the usual bullets, or will I wind up more vulnerable?

Wiki states to keep it above the -50% mark in order to stay safe from bullets. Gives you around 3m radius. I keep mine just above -50% and have had no problems. I tried it at 34% with maxed narrow minded and was taking damage. I put stretch on to get it above 50%.
