I know that for Sentinels once they die, they and their weapon don't get anymore XP and the bonus, but does that apply to your Warframe and weapon as well? Thanks. It wouldn't make sense for you to still gain affinity from being a rag doll on the floor somewhere to soak up the effort of others. If you want to gain more xp, take less weapons... it does not increase the amount of xp you gain, but rather puts more xp into the equipped gear, since it's dividing up into less items.
