How to pick a Main Frame

I want to main someone like my clan mates and YouTubers do

DK has Nova

AGGP has Loki

Shy has Banshee (for some unknown God forsaken reason)

Etc

 

So how do you pick your main? What's yours? How'd you decide "This is the one."? If your main sucks at a specific mission type, would you use them anyway?

Honestly, it's better to choose on for the situation, instead of one in general. 

 

For low level exterminate, Ember can clear in under four minutes so i use her.

For high level exterminate, Mirage with synoid simulor does well.

For (mobile) defense/excavation, Frost. Unless it is moving, then either blessing Trin or Blind mirage

For spy, Loki. can't match the utility of invis and switch teleporting with decoys.

For Interception, Mirage with synoid simulor.

For capture, volt prime as SUPER MASSIVE SPEED.

For archwing, Mesa as the 50 extra health from unequipping (non-archwing) melee can help out.

For survival/loot farming, Nekros.

For whatever i feel like bringing at the time, anything at all(minus Oberon)

For when i want to do a job somewhat okay, but ultimately be inferior to everybody else who does it and feel like a mix between a weaker blessing trin and a weaker excalibur with a touch of Nova and Frost, as well as try to do the impossible of finding a good build. i go for Oberon.
