Help! How Do I Copy DE's Button Config On The Steam Controller?

So I want to recreate a specific button config from DE's original configuration on the Steam controller.

The button config is this, when you press down on the left trackpad, a  pop-up menu appears and when you press down again, the menu disappears. OK, so I have assigned the pop-up menu to the left under bumper and when I press it the menu appears, but if I press it for a second time the menu remains. How do I make it disappear on the second press?

Going to have to look for a toggle option most likely. Which might not exist. Game pad functionality is far from ccomplete on the PC.
