Question

Last saturday I tried playing Warframe but when I opened the game it gave an error saying: 'Warframe can not run on this version of windows.Windows XP Service Pack 3 or later is required.'

And I don't know what to do about it.My PC is Windows 7.What do I do?

(Also League of Legends had a recent service pack change.I think it because of that service pack change that Warframe isn't working anymore.Please help)

Option 1:

Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Warframe\Tools
Open Launcher.exe
(But this way you won't be able to use the Steam overlay)

Option 2:

- Run regedit (Windows key + R; type in regedit)
--> Find: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers
----> Rename Steam.exe to DISABLED_Steam.exe
--> Find: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Compatibility Assistant\Persisted
----> Rename Steam.exe to DISABLED_Steam.exe
- Restart Steam and try running WF again
