Continuous connectivity issues

This problem has been CONSISTENT for me ever since the Gate Crash event. 

 

Basically, whenever I try to join a game, it either takes me a good 3-5 minutes to connect to the host, or I just fail to connect. This makes sorties, farm runs, basically any type of gameplay nearly impossible.

Whenever I try and HOST a match, everyone in my lobby fails to connect to the game.

I don't know how else to explain the issue, before Gate Crash happened I could join games easily, afterwards it got so bad I refused to play the game. I gave it another shot and it's been this new problem now, a slight upgrade since I can connect to games even if it takes a lifetime and a half. 

My internet isn't completely awful I have decent speeds in both download and upload, and the ping is average. I had crappier internet BEFORE the GC event and didn't have this issue. My PC isn't the greatest but it's the same one, and still this problem didn't exist before that event. I'm at my wit's end, I can't truly enjoy this game if I can't play it half the time.

What can I do to try to alleviate this issue?
