Don't shoot the Frost's snow globes, they don't distinguish between your fire and the enemy's and it's just going to waste your ammo and your Frost's globe HP.

If you're Limbo, don't Cataclysm, and don't banish allies unless they ask for it

Stay near the defense target - not on top of it, as that will just get it splashed by AoEs, but stay within a bullet jump's reach so that allies can get to you if you go down.

If you aren't sturdy, stay under the globe.

If you're Atlas, wall off some choke points within sight of the defense target to reduce the number of enemies attacking at once.

Shoot sapper balls and tar moa goop to get rid of them, especially if they're underneath the defense target or your allies.

If you see a nullifier bubble and the defense target's not immediately under attack, drop everything and pop/kill that cretin.

Suffer not the Scorch to live (Limbo, banish this jerk)

Suffer not the Bombard to live.

Keep melee enemies out from under the globe.

Multiple Frosts?  Don't get possessive - layered snow globes are just that much more obstacles that enemies need to shoot through or traverse to get to the objective.

If you die far away from the defense point, don't expect people to come out and revive you - there's a reason why "dead" usually precedes the title "hero."

Use CC powers to protect the point from direct attack.  Don't slow down or stop everything on the map just because you can (lookin' at you, Slowva)

The biggest rule of them all, the One Rule That Supersedes All Others:

The Objective Comes First.  Reviving allies can wait until the objective is not under attack.  If someone dies, they die.  If the objective dies, you lose.
