Level design suggestions

1. More unique rooms like Jackal's room or navigation center would be nice. Not just general rooms and corridors, but rooms with clear purpose like sick bay with lots of health spheres or even working medical equipment (which will heal you completely in exchange for some of your energy or something like that) or armory with lots of ammunition or treasury with hackable safes with credits and rare crafting materials or science bay on Corpus Research Vessel with Infested in isolated chambers with transparent glass or some hackable machinery helping you fight the enemies.

2. Make laser bariers on Corpus missions hackable. All doors have access panels on each side, why not let players permanently disable that pesky lasers by hacking those panels?

Yes, but not everyone on your team knows that. People tend to charge through and trigger some camera in another part of the room leaving you locked out completely. Also when another faction appears on a Corpus mission, laser-locked doors can block potentially vital passages. For example, you can destroy all turrets in a room and move on and then you have to go through that room again, but it's locked because camera in that room spotted a crawler.
