pitapredator Posted June 17, 2013 Share Posted June 17, 2013 I've been playing for a long time but this is my first time posting anything so forgive me if this isn't the right place for this but I had an idea...Make some kind of a gambling mechanic, maybe a room in the dojos? As i've said before i've been playing this for a while. And i love it. The only thing that really frustrates me (and a whole bunch of other people from what i've seen on the forums) is how little control those of us who don't want to spend a lot of real money have over things like tower keys, forma, orokin reactors/catalysts, and last but definitely not least: Vauban parts. Since the game is already so luck based (only meant to be slightly critical) why not give us some sense of control? Let us choose to maybe wager credits or mods for a chance at something better. Maldhyr Posted June 17, 2013 Share Posted June 17, 2013 Some things are meant to be hard to get....If you cannot or will not spend a small amount of Plat in order to keep the game up and running (Devs need food too) like a forma or a potato every now and then...then accept that you will not be able to mod as others...or are not playing with Frames at the same time others do.. exclusivity in terms of hard to get items is one way of hoping some are spending a few bucks on the game... This has nothing to do with pay to win (cause I can hear that one coming) since the available weapons (free ones) will enable every player to play the game to the fullest without even spending one plat... only not with the skins and or stats you would want to... Another things they 'could' do is sell the game for 10-15 bucks and include a start amount of Plat. But I fear that will help a little since a lot will be spending it in the first days and then start asking for resets etc ;-) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

For example extra slots for warframes. That makes sense to me and i've spend more on this game than i have on any other "free" game. Even spending money on reactors and catalysts makes sense to me because they just improve things that you already have access to. But the fact that it's pretty much impossible to get Vauban by just spending the time and grinding annoys me. It's just an idea. Trollin4ThePrimes Posted June 17, 2013 Share Posted June 17, 2013 You don't need to spend lots of money to get outfitted, the 50 plat you start with is enough for a main weapon and warframe potato..... If anything we would see a type of gambling like other games with a crate system which might happen when the game grows like most other f2p games. Maybe spend credits on a consumable item that makes the rare material more likely to drop from a boss for a certain amount of time.
