After using sonic booms and/or sounds quake, there's a billowing smoke/dust cloud similar to the one that is present during the usage. When you're moving it's not so bad leaving them around but defense.... was doing one of the infested defense challenges and after defending a certain walkway with sonic booms and a few sound quakes there were so many clouds and so thick I couldn't even see the end of the walkway.
