Game Crashes when disconnecting Audio Cord

I was in the middle of a mission and unplugged my audio cord from my Desktop PC to my iPhone to listen to music and the game tabbed out and froze my computer. Had to CTRL ALT DEL and restart my entire computer just to get it functional again. I also lost all my mission progress. Please fix.

Warframe can sometimes recover from swapping audio output devices (it will even give you a message in game telling you that sound functionality has recovered)

Sometimes it doesn't

 

If you want to completely avoid this in the future go to your audio settings in warframe and switch the default audio output device to something else like another set of speakers/headphones and then unplug your headphones
