Today I found this and it inspired me to write about something I like about the game, as opposed to my usual threads complaining about every little thing that annoys me. That thing I like is redundancy. I like that there are multiple means to the same end, for example if you want to murder things more effectively, you can take the flashy route and use Multishot for tons of numbers, or the utilitarian method of crits, take a more specialized approach with elements, or just take the simple option of straight damage % mods. It's seen in defense, choosing to specialize in shields strength/recharge or in armor/health and even in mobility with stamina max and regen mods, and even sprint speed mods. So I'd like to say that I like these things, and I love that artifacts aren't purely niche utility and that mods can get some of that too. People who play these types of games will always find ways to min/max everything so there will always be an 'ideal' route to go but as long as there are viable options for alternative playstyles everything is great.
