New Corrupted enemy/miniboss: Corrupted Lorists

Long ago, the Orokin created beings known as Lorists, artificial humans infused with powerful technology and given superhuman abilities to serve their masters, now all that is left of their designs are the twisted Ancients and potentially the many Eximus warriors that populate the many factions on the Origin System.

 

That is, until now.

 

It seems as though Vor was doing much more than simply attacking Tenno who would venture into the Void Towers, thanks to a combination of circumstances (access to old and new designs, brief work on the Warframes, the Corrupted nature of himself and all those around him, and the reappearance of Lua) he has been able to resurrect and even improve upon the Orokins creations. Now able to more effectively channel the energies of the Void, the new Lorists are a far deadlier opponent than most mundane adversaries. With the ability to move with incredible speed and agility (such as Syndicate operatives and even Warframes themselves at times), Channelling (through a Cronus most likely)  and even the use of minor Void powers, these monstrosities will ensure that the Corrupted are able to lay waste to the Origin System without issue, and even give less experienced Tenno pause.

 

This could possibly be a field boss type enemy, where after you complete enough Fissure levels you'll get a Lorist mark, which could either function as a regular mark or one that only activates on Fissure missions (with an increased chance of activating to compensate). Not sure what the unique drops would be though.

 

Also, thinking of a quest+reoccurring event for them as well.

APOCALYPSE CULT

 

Tenno, Vor's ambitious ways are threatening to bring the Origin system to its knees in an apocalyptic way.

 

He is sending cabals of his new Lorists into this reality to create breaches into the Void that would each be able to swallow fleets whole, potentially devastating those caught within and turning any survivors and even those near by into Corrupted. We cannot let this happen, not only would it throw the current powers into a frenzy, it would also threaten the innocents spread throughout the system. Time is of the essence, you must go out and hunt down these Cabals and ensure that their cataclysmic rituals never see fruition. I'm counting on you Tenno, we all are. -The Lotus

 

Something like that, with a mini event like the Balor Formorians, only without a relay being destroyed. Maybe it could replace the present missions with 'clean up' exterminate missions, which until you complete or wait for time to pass you won't be able to access the normal missions.
