where to find/farm rare mods?

Hmm, rare mods so golden ones.

Basic warframe power mods like Intensify etc. and rare mods like Rage, Sanctuary, Vital sense, Berserker, multishot mods (there is probably more) can be found it the void if you don't want to farm enemies that much. I'd suggest high lvl void sabotage just to be sure that all of these will be in drop pool or lower for just these basic mods. Now break every container you see, find time trial room for more containers, you're looknig for uncommon ones so the a bit shining ones, you'll see they are actually everywhere.   And void has lots of hidden rooms so keep your eyes open (or find some guide on youtube for example)   Of course ethese mods can be found elsewhere but I got vast majority of them from the void. Sadly it can be as frustrating as farming enemies.

Mods affecting your bullet jump can found in Uranus sabotage

Drift mods are a bit difficult to obtain as you need to solve tests on Lua after you complete Second Dream.

Ammo mutations can be found in excavation missions at rotation C (each 4th successful excavator)

Life Strike can found in Dark Sector excavation missions at rotation C

Dual stat mods a.k.a. nightmare mods are avaliable only through alerts for now just like auras as nightmare missions disappeared somehow.

Heat and cold dual stat elemental mods drop from spy missions, different mods from different lvl(tier) of mission. Toxin drop from Corrupted Vor, he spawns in void missions above lvl 40, electricity are difficult to get as Baro Ki'Teer sell them.

Corrupted mods (+stat and -stat) are located in Orokin Vaults in Orokin Derelict. You need dragon keys to open vaults and full squad for the best effect. Derelict keys are in market, dragon keys are in dojo in orokin lab (you need to belong to or have a clan).

This is all what comes to my mind for know. Depends what you need. Look up specific mod on wiki for more details.
