neKroMancer
Yes, it's too cute. Lex is currently the most powerful pistol availale but the in-game model look extreme tiny compared to your frame's hand. I think it's the size of Lato and feel like a placeholder (probably is). I think the model should be more powerful in order to better express it's power. I expect a gun that look like Robocop's when it can fire 60 damage per bullet, not a tiny pistol. Kokurai
actually i think the lato is longer than lex....lol even the nerf gun is bigger than the lex if we compare it http://teachingphysics.files.wordpress.com/2008/11/nerf-maverick.jpg

TikiBacon
Needs to be like desert eagle or something of that caliber and have a hell of a knockback
Black_Dynamite
It's fat, It doesn't need to be long. Rule of thumb seems to be the longer the barrel the more powerful it is. (This doesnt always hold true, but still) For instance, wouldnt it look more fitting like this? http://www.justpistols.co.uk/m500_003.jpg
Gromann
Barrel length has nothing to do with the power of the pistol vs. other pistols. 90% of the power comes from what it fires, there's a 2" version of that S&W 500. Imo, it should have a muzzle break of some kind, it'd add to it's appearance immensely.
neKroMancer
The design entirely depend on what mechanic Lexxy is using. If she is using a regular powder/barrel groove then she should look a bit more archaic but judging from the firepower and the distance she definitely isn't relying on these normal mechanic (Lato would use it, granted, since the projectile is hellishly off at long range). If Lexxy is a hand-held rail gun then there should be powersource attached to the chamber and a longer magnetic barrel to control the projectile. Hell, give me Robocop's and we have a deal OK? Gromann
I think something like this http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/7/75/MatebaAutoRevolver6in.jpg/300px-MatebaAutoRevolver6in.jpg Would fit in much better than a 120 lb ball and cap revolver... Just sayin :D

Gromann
True, but we already have evolutions of the design like that Unica I posted. http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m1vn39OVEh1r6vvuqo1_r1_500.jpg On a side note, the Borderlands revolvers are worth a peek for ideas. http://i723.photobucket.com/albums/ww233/boyluya/borderlands-oxcgn-78.jpg
neKroMancer
Revolver looks cool but clipsize upgrade begs for question. How does one increase Revolver cylinder capacity?
MonkJayn
when i first used it, i thought, heh noisey cricket from men in black - cool. and it kind of is, tiny gun, HUGE kick :P laters Monk however, i would like a more beefy model myself, and perhaps a little less staring at the ceiling after every shot :P
Gromann
*twitch* clip *twitch* Anyway, some revolvers can swap cylinders, I don't think that would be a big issue for people in this time frame.
neKroMancer
Can we swap cylinder model into some sort of energy/magnetic chamber?
TisEric
guys... there are cylinders that go beyond 6 rounds.... you jsut design the revolver for different cylinder sizes swap the thing out when you get more ammo.
Gromann
Can we swap cylinder model into some sort of energy/magnetic chamber? That's actually an interesting idea, split the tree a couple different ways, picking one locks the other, and it adds a different characteristic (multishot, piercing, etc..). Keagian
Did you guys forget about the little tiny gun in MIB that could pretty much blow you backwards. http://www.xscapesprops.com/Men_in_Black/MIB_Noisy_Cricket.jpg
