If you're testing builds, you should go test them, not tinker around with a builder.

Unless of course you want someone else to tell you how to play the game.

well i don't rly wanne buy the mods for a build that would be useless for the kinda build i'm looking for so i ask the forum since i know there are some experienced excalibur players here

This is the Excal build that I used to use when I actually played Excal.

Aura: Corrosive Projection (Steel Charge hardly makes a difference)

Exilus: Handspring (Nearly instant knockdown recovery)

1) Vitality (More survivability)

2) Primed Flow (More energy and survivability with Quick Thinking)

3) Quick Thinking (More survivability)

4) Rage (More energy, channel tanking with Life Strike)

5) Transient Fortitude (More damage)

6) Primed Continuity (More duration for Radiant Blind)

7) Fleeting Expertise (More efficiency)

8) Streamline (More efficiency)

This build is for maximum survivability with "Quick Thinking + Life Strike" channel tanking while obtaining minimum energy drain for all abilities.

It gives decent power duration(10+ seconds) for Radiant Blind and enough power strength for 99% of game play.

(I did have the Arcane Pendragon helm that gave me an additional 15% power strength so that is something though.)

My favorite weapon build was

1) Primed Pressure Point (more damage)

2) Primed Fury (more dps)

3) Berserker (more dps)

4) Life Strike (health recovery)

5~6) Corrosive

7~8) Blast

The weapon build is simple, for hitting hard and fast and healing back with Life Strike whenever neccesary.

This build goes along well with Naramon's Shadow Step and Deadly Intent.

Hope this works as reference. :)

EB is not affected by the stats of the melee weapon but only its mods.

So you could even use a Skana if you wanted to.

I could easily go 80+ mins on T4 survival with this build but the endless Void survivals are now dead so yeah.

90% elementals.

You could go use the dual stat mods if you wanted to.

You could also forgo one of the elemental mods and use Covert Lethality on a dagger if you want to go really far on survivals.

Turn EB off, use radiant blind, use a stealth kill for one hit kills regardless of enemy levels.

It wasn't to my personal tastes but Covert Lethality is quite mandatory when the enemy levels go up so very far.

Also reach mods and Acolyte mods such as Body Count and Blood Rush DO NOT work on EB.

You will pratically be wasting mod slots.

I'd hang around for more but I am not even getting any +1s or even a proper "thanks" so I'd rather hang around in off-topic.

Toodles!

Just to clarify, it doesn't work on the waves. The energy sword itself will still have an enlarged melee hitbox as usual, and to my understanding, this makes it easier to hit nearby enemies with both the sword and the wave at the same time (effectively doubling your damage with each swing). I haven't verified this myself, though.

I still wouldn't recommend Primed Reach over other mods, but it can potentially work quite nicely with a more "in-your-face" type of playstyle.

By the way, if you're running pure-EB (like, if you're trying to avoid using your gun or your nikana for the entire mission), then Energy Conversion is a bloody fantastic mod to have for Excalibur. Just pick up an energy orb, and then press 4 to have 50% extra STR on your EB for the entire time that it's out.

If you're running EB exclusively during missions, then EC is a must-have.
