Melee combo question

Do i have to equip the melee weapon for combos? I guess yes...

So mods like Blood Rush, or Weeping Wounds, are useless if i use melee while have the primary equipped? ... or there is another logic behind this mods?

Melee combo counter still increasing even if you are using quick attack.

a stance combo is only active when melee is equipped

the melee combo counter is based around melee hits (including quick melee) in a certain time

so blood rush crit boost works with quick melee (when yo have your primary/secondary equipped) but crimson dervish damage boost does not
