War Within is Crashing Please Help

I'm on the part of the War Within quest where you have to track Teshin in the meteor field. Once i get past the scanners and get to the systems, my game freezes. Many times my entire computer freezes and I have to force shutdown my computer. Please help if you know how to fix this. I'm playing already on the lowest settings and that hasn't helped. I've optimized my graphics card too and optimized my game cache. Still nothing works.
