It's a defense mission.

At a certain point, enemies begin to lose their simulator colors by mingling their original colors out of the challenge, and begin to fight against each other (simulated against corpus), and the challenge goes into infinite mode. And if the player dies, does not count as failure or attempt and the same does not revive, if it falls off the map, does not count as failure as well.

same. I was 0/5 waves completed. Gave up after 700 kills with no progress. Even after pod destroyed and me dead it did not failed the test. There was no network failures or anything suggesting something is wrong.
