Nightmare Alert Mission - No Mod Reward?

It was like 2 am this night and I was doing an alert mission with my friend. It was Grineer Sabotage and the alert said we would get Vigor as a reward in the end. We had no shields, so we died a ton and I ended up running out of revives. Oops.

My friend finished the objective tho (destroying two machines). But neither of us got the mod reward? Its kind of annoying as thats why we did it in the first place.

Is this normal, did we overlook something or was it bc one of us died for good?

I'm still pretty new to Warframe and this is the first time I even encountered a nightmare mission.

This just happened to me tonight on an exterminate mission ( Jupiter ).  I ran it solo and had 1 death, but otherwise everything else went fine.  After completing the mission the mod was not in the rewards nor in my inventory.  I've submitted a helpdesk ticket to support.

I was super busy so I haven't done it yet, but I will do so in the evening.

I had done another nightmare mission in the meantime and got my mod reward just fine. So that's very strange!
