new strange quest?

ive done it twice but now i am out of the traps and have only 3 scans left.

any ideas what i do now

You can go back to Simaris at the Relay and buy more traps and scanner charges with credits.  Later on when you have enough standing with him, you can upgrade your Synthesis Scanner to have, among other things, unlimited charges of scans.
