Equinox metamorphosis bug or not?

so i was playing the game and i noticed something strange. the thing on the neck.  it appears after i either use the metamorphosis in game or if i press the metamorphosis option in "appearance" menu

when i dont use metamorphosis

when i use it

it is really weird pls tell me if its a bug or not

Has nothing to do with Equinox, but rather, nidus.

 

Have you gotten him and used him to...

If the answer is "no", then have you recently interacted with a nidus in a relay or Mission?

 

Appearently DE has added an infectious neck parasite, it seems to have passed onto your Day form equinox, but not your night form.

i did not tamper with nidus nor the infested door nor the glast gambit quest. so thats that. And actually it is on night form too.it appears ONLY if i use 1st ability or use "metamorphosis" option in "appearance menu

i dont have it on other frames though

So yeah, you got infected by a player who did have it, potentially a nidus player.

So far I only know of it happening in relays/dojos, but it might also happen in mission.
