Graphical glitch or intentional addition? can somebody explain this thing on my warframe?

I recently got the Hirudo and after using it for a while I noticed that my Loki Prime had this strange growth on it that had never been there before. It's very weird and I'm not sure how to explain it as anything other than an out of place infested growth. Either way it's placement is very annoying and because I have no way to really blend it with my warframe without abandoning the aesthetic that I've really come to love I decided to come to the forums to ask whether anyone else has had this "problem". If it's just a graphical glitch I can be patient and wait for it to get patched out, if not is there any way to remove this...thing?

It isn't a glitch and is meant to stand out.  Your were infected by Nidus, the infested frame in a mission or relay or dojo.
