Frequent Freezing and crashing

So I've had warframe on PC for about a week now, I used to have it on PS4, and as of the Glast Gambit update it will freeze up every thirty minutes to an hour or so of playing. I will be either in the middle of a mission or in the loading screen entering or leaving a mission. It runs completely smooth then all of a sudden the picture freezes for about 40 seconds, but I can still hear sound. After those 40 seconds the game restarts and puts me back at the log in screen, but then my laptop disconnects from the wifi and i can not re-connect until I restart it. One time instead of restarting the game my computer just crashed. I'd relate this as a problem with my laptop but  this has never happened with any other game or program, and changing the graphical settings does not change it at all as far as i have noticed. I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else and if so how to fix it.

CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-5500U CPU @ 2.40GHz

Memory: 8.00 GB RAM

Current resolution: 1366 x 768, 60Hz

Driver version: 368.39

OS: Microsoft Windows 8.1

Try the usual musical swapping of drivers (update to latest and if that doesn't work revert to an earlier version).
