Volt Discharge Build?

I'm wondering if this is even worthwhile. I think Frost does this better, but I could be wrong. However, I've seen a few players using this, so maybe I'm missing something.

Am I missing something? Is this build worthwhile?

Volt has been troublesome, as the thee builds I have aren't compatible in terms of polarities. I can do it, if I polarize two more slots, but then that's two more slots....

Personally, I like using his shields.

No Capacitance augment? WIthout a Redirection, I feel Capacitance is needed.

One of the other builds has Capacitance and Redirection. That one has a Range of 181.

Before I had reset Volt enough to make these, I concentrated on using his shields, which I thought were a great ability. These are supposedly good builds, but you never know how much experience the creator has actually playing the game.

I mod my Volt Prime for range and duration with Rage to keep me topped off with energy.
