The Second dream quest

Ok, so i would like to actually begin the quest, but that would require me to go through 2 planets and have to do a void area, which in turn would take a very long time. Is there any way for another player to invite me into one or Uranus' submerssive ark wing missions (i heard that that is one area where you need to scan a certain entity) or do i need to work my way through the planets

You actually have to activate the quest and work through to it in order to actually do it. Players can invite you to their games but it won't count for anything unless you have it active yourself.

They can help you going through planets though, you don't need to play the whole way yourself. Like if you want to activate the junction, someone can invite you to the mission before the junction to finish that for you.
