Wurtzite is a tanky jewel-oriented Warframe that focuses on anchoring the team to the battlefield. Named after one of the hardest substances known, he doesn't crumble easily.

Wurtzite's bleedout timer is doubled. However, in order to revive him, allies must find and pick up 3 Crystal Shards and bring them to Wurtzite.
In addition, Wurtzite cannot attack enemies while downed, but instead can fire homing healing gems at allies.

Healing Per Gem: 50/80/110/140 HP
This can be increased with Bleedout Damage mods.

1. Shard Strike

Wurtzite takes a moment to wind up a powerful punch. Deals damage to a nearby enemy. Successfully hitting an enemy grants Wurtzite 10/15/20/25% bonus armour for 3/5/7/9 seconds, and causes a spray of tiny crystal shards to hit enemies behind the initial target in a cone, dealing an equal amount of Impact, Puncture, and Slash damage. Armour bonus stacks 3 times for a total of 30/45/60/75%.

Cost: 20 Energy
Initial Punch Damage: 100/150/250/400 Impact b
Crystal Shard Wave Damage: 35/60/85/110 Impact b + 35/60/83/110 Slash b+35/60/85/110 Puncture b

Power Strength increases initial punch and shard rain damage, as well as armour bonus.

Power Duration increases how long you retain armour bonus.

Power Efficiency reduces energy cost of this ability.

Power Range increases the shard rain's width and length of cone. Doesn't effect range of initial punch.

2. Crystalize

Wurtzite quickly forms a small crystal wall in the direction he's facing, immobilizing himself. Lasts for 1 second, and absorbs all damage dealt to it. After expiring, Wurtzite regains movement, and also gains overshields equal to 100/150/200/250 + 30/50/70/90% of the damage absorbed. If the crystal ring absorbed damage equal to at least 150% of Wurzite's combined shields+health, it also shatters outward, dealing puncture damage to all nearby enemies, as well as knocking them over.

Wall Shatter Damage: 200/300/400/500Puncture b


Power Strength increases the flat amount of overshields granted.

Power Duration increases the duration the crystal ring.

Power Efficiency reduces the energy cost of this ability.

Power Range increases range of crystal explosion.

3. Nonpareil Shield

Wurtzite generates a crystalline shield that reduces incoming damage by 75/80/85/90% as long as the shield absorbs the hits. The shield faces in whatever direction you aim at, but disallows use of your primary weapon while active. This ability is a toggled ability but only drains energy when the shield blocks damage. Melee attacks absorbed by the shield always stagger the attacker.
NOTE: This ability has no initial casting cost to promote its usage.

Cost: 5 energy per second

Power Strength has no effect.
Power Duration decreases blocking energy cost.
Power Efficiency decreases blocking energy cost.
Power Range increases width and height of crystal shield, making it easier to absorb incoming damage.

4. Gemspire

Spoiler

Summon a massive stalagmite out of the ground. It has HP equal to triple of Wurtzite's. Both he and his allies continually gain armour every second while nearby the mound as a jewelled shell slowly forms over top their warframes. Grants 10 armour per second, for a total of 300 bonus armour. Allies retain this bonus for 10/28/46/60 seconds after moving out of range of the stalagmite. Additionally, every 60 seconds, the structure sends a shockwave rippling through the ground, causing gem spikes to erupt upwards, dealing puncture and impact damage to enemies within range. The structure lasts indefinitely until destroyed, and cannot be repaired. Only one may be created at a time. Creating a new one will cause the original to crumble, and will also reset the shockwave timer.

Cost: 100 Energy
Spire Armour Aura/Shockwave range: 20/27/34/41 meters

Shockwave Damage: 100/150/200/250 Impact b  + 150/200/300/450 Puncture b

Power Strength increases damage of shockwave.
Power Duration reduces time in between shockwaves.
Power Efficiency decreases the energy cost of this ability.
Power Rangth increases the effective radius of Gemspire's armour aura and also shockwave range.

woah..that's a lot of cryotic and argon crystals mah dude, however I do enjoy the concept of this frame, the passive he has seems a bit too clunky to me. and the fact that he cant be revived by other player shows a few red flags on my radar, but all in all, I'd probably enjoy him if this concept was an actually imputed into the game. 7.5/10 this guy rocks.
