Getting Inaros by tagging along the missions?!?

I'm fairly new to Warfare. Really enjoying my time with this game so far... so I got a little Platinum before the the sale went out. Decided to buy the Sands of Inaros pack because, well, that frame just seemed all sorts of awesome. And man... he is!!! Anyway, here's the question...

I play with a friend who has not bought the pack... so he doesn't have the Sands of Inaros quest in his log. If I let him play through all the missions from the quest line with me, will he still get all the parts and blueprints to craft his own Inaros as quest rewards?!?

No. Your friend must have the Sand of Inaros quest and have it active in order to claim the blueprints and parts (since there are items they have to possess and tasks they have to complete).

For your friend to get inaros he must buy the quest from the void trader who pops up in the relays every second week, When he is here you'll get a inbox message saying where he is. You friend also needs ducats to buy the quest.

 

And if you don't know what ducats are, they are the currency that the void trader uses for his gear, to get them you need to sell prime parts at the terminals you find in the middle of the relays.
