Index Module

i was playing index and i got module thing. when i pick it up it says unidentified. wat was it?

It should say at the end of the mission, should it not? For example, when receiving an unidentified item from a Lua Spy, and at the end of the mission, you'd see "Identified" and then name of the mod below, say it is Crushing Ruin, a hammer stance. Another thing you can receive is unidentified relics.

Did that not pop up when at the end of the Index?

Most likely it was a mod.  The enemies in the Index drop mods that can only be obtained in the Index.  You don't get to see what they are until the rewards screen, however.

Check your Mod Foundry set on most recent, it should be on the first ones if it;s a mod.
