Warframe Freezes On Exiting Settings, Warframe Equipments And Artifacts

Ever since the new update patch, i've been encountering hardcore freezes with the application when i do any of the following:

 

1. Save settings/configurations in-game

2. Select a new ability/artifact card

3. Exiting the warframe equipment change screen

 

Also, i realized all of my previous settings/configurations I've made, are gone. Not only that, i had to manually configure the settings to what i want, every single time after i logged into Warframe. The settings/configurations just doesn't seem to save. During the freezes, it just kicks out every member in the party, or me out of the party that i'm currently in.

 

I've performed the following actions in hopes of resolving it, but results in utter failure:

 

1. Steam verify Cache integrity

2. Warframe login client verify Download cache integrity

3. Deleted Warframe game completely, and redownload the whole game

 

Anyone have any ideas on this?

In reguards to not saving your settings make sure that EE.cfg is not only read only in %appdata%/Local/Warframe (WIN 7).

You, my friend, helped me resolve this problem. After locating the Warframe folder in where you mentioned, i went ahead to rename the folder to Warframe1 to make the system recreate that folder and files again. Now, all the problems i've mentioned in this topic have been resolved. Thank you!
