My syndicate isn't working please help

I'm a mastery rank 10 and I'm initiated to all the syndicates but when I go to the syndicate slot in the navigation it sais mastery rank 3  and syndicate affilitration required

Specifically - ' Syndicate Alerts are special Alert missions unlocked by attaining Rank 1 in a particular syndicate. ' & 'To advance through Syndicate rankings, players require Standing earned by wearing the syndicates' respective Sigils. '

Just initiating with a syndicate isn't sufficient to gain their respective alerts, you'll need to unlock rank 1 of your preferred faction (keeping in mind this will set 2 other factions against you to a certain degree).

What 11thCommandment said, you first need to initiate in one or a few syndicates and advance to rank 1. You do that by interacting with the console to the left of navigation and then gaining exp while wearing a syndicate sigil.
