Same goes for RIFT SURGE. Does it require a target to work, can you just target it on the ground OR does 1 cast affect every enemy in the rift? 0 Darrekk Posted March 30, 2017 Share Posted March 30, 2017 Banish can target the ground (I just tested it) but if there is no enemy or ally who is both within range of the target and in the same plane as Limbo, you will get the "invalid target" message. Also, according the the wiki, Rift Surge automatically targets every enemy who is both in the rift and within a certain range. You don't have to aim it. If I recall correctly: - Banish can banish enemies by targeting the ground as long as there's at least one target within 5m of the targeted location. Titania's Spellbind works the same way. - (just to clarify) Rift Surge requires a Rifted enemy to be 25m of yourself in order to cast, but you don't actually have to be aiming at (or near) a specific target.
