Nightmare Mode + Rage Mod

I'm a genius! :P Don't know if anyone have tried this / figured this out, but a maxed out Rage mod (10% lost HP converted to Energy per rank), combined with a Nightmare mode where you keep losing HP, allows you to generate 1.2 energy per second. On top of that, you can get 0.6 E/s from a maxed out Energy Siphon, meaning 1.8 E/s if you are alone, 3.6 E/s when in a full party.

I finally found a use for this Rage mod.
