DirectX Disables squad capabilities [UPDATED]

[Update] The reply to a support ticket I put in only served to let me know this is a bug, not something that can be solved with player actions. 

 

On some machines, enabling DirectX 10 or 11 may fix issues with system lag, but somehow doing so removes the ability to stay connected to a squad. The game will usually falsely tell you the host is migrating, and kick you into a solo play of that mission. Of course, this is just as bad of an issue as large amounts of system lag brought on by disabling DirectX.
