Orvius, does it use the Proto-Glaive skin?

I really want to know since the original glaive isn't doing it for me and I have yet to build the cerata... I have all of the parts for the Orvuis but haven't built it yet because I needed Kuva and I wanted to know if it was possible because the wikia said I could but I don't always rely on wikia to be reliable...

 Yes. You can equip only Proto - Glaive

The Orvius is compatible with the Proto-Glaive skin.

The proto glaive Skin can be equipped on all Throwing Melee weapons.
