Limbo exploit/bug or i cant read

(bad english) I was playing Limbo and bcoz im dumb i tried to shot enemies outside the rift while i was in the rift.Dread didnt deal any dmg but lex prime dealt dmg as usual.So i was like hmm practicly a god but with little dmg... oh ok. Then i tried with my strun wraith and he dealt the same dmg as usual. Then I realized i might get banned for this so I came here to write this down and maybe get some answers.

Don't worry, you're not getting banned because you found a bug/an exploit. This is part of the ever ongoing process of the development of this game.
