Nekros Prime Shadows of The Dead

So I was playing Heiracon which is an infested excavation. I have 4 forma in to Nek Prime and i kniw the max shadows is 7. But i was seeing numbers of 13 shadows. How is this possible if the max number is 7?? Apparently its not affected by power strength. Is it energy conversion doing this?

That's an easy one to answer. You must have revived a Brood Mother. They can spawn maggots which will increase your shadow counter higher than it's normal max. Good for if you're running Shield of Shadows as those extra shadows will boost your damage mitigation. This can also happen if you revive a Drakk/Hyekka Master on Grineer tilesets, or any of the units that summon Ospreys on Corpus tilesets.
