The second dream, the security eye

Well, I was trying to conclude this part of the quest but then, there was this security eye.

I had done many puzzles that included using an enemy's attack in your favor, but there seems to be something wrong with the eye now.

I shot at the pads, stand there, waiting for him to fire that laser at me, he fires, I jump, it CLEARLY hits the pendula...and it is not destroyed. Am I doing something wrong? I've already restarted the mission, used Valkyr's ult, and nothing works

From what I hear, its currently bugged. Probably due to the last patch messing with some weapons (guessing the eye uses code similar to some of the weapons that are messed up).
