-Eru-Iluvatar
Just curious before I do anything. If I want to change my username but the name is already taken, will it still deduct the 200p? (Silly question, I know)

In the chat, use: /profile NAME That'll pull up the profile tied to that name. If it is taken, but it has a very low amount of time played, you may actually be able to claim it via DE Support. You'll just need to get as much screencaps of the profile to show how little that account has played the game. Will the /profile name work even if the person is offline? I request a name change to a name that was taken and they give it to me and deduct 200 plat themselves ?

Just be sure to get screencaps of the person's equipment, their time played, how many missions they've done, and anything else that may be relevant in determining they haven't played the game in a very long time. If it shows the player as having a default-looking Excalibur despite not actually owning one, then odds are good that they haven't played in an extremely long time, because after a certain length of time, your profile will revert to a default state. If DE Support approves your case, then you will be deducted the normal 200p. Thanks for the info mate !
