Soloing The Jackal?

Does anyone have any tips and advices on the most efficient way to solo the Jackal on Fossa? I only have the Mag Warframe currently [Rank 14] and I need to defeat The Jackal so I can venture further unto more planets and quests. Any and all helpful feedback is greatly appreciated!

Mag's Polarize ability is great for dropping it's shields. Target the legs and down it first before going for the head. Repeat as many times as needed to down the guy. Going in with a squad will probably cut the time to down it quicker.

Ah, I see! Thank you! Also, is it true that hiding behind the pillars negates his shockwave stomps? I read somewhere that it's possible.

I don't believe so, you just have to time a jump. It isn't too hard cause Jackal makes it very apparent when he's about to do it, and the shock waves aren't too fast.
