Large Bugs VS. Small Bugs

I know that there has been a lot of bugs with the release of the plains of eidolon. Many of these are major bugs, such as bugged bounties and inability to enter or exit the plains in public mode. However, there are a lot of small, near subtle bugs that many people may overlook. One of these such small bugs has to do with mining. I've noticed in the last few public missions I've done, no ores of any kind have spawned, unless I specifically go alone or with a preformed squad. So it appears going to the pains with randoms squanders your chances of mining anything, as the ores don't spawn.
