Color the items we can pick up on the mini map

In the mission, the mini map shows the locations of the storage crates and other items we can pick up ( as a little square on the map ) and I was wondering if there was a chance to get them colored on the mini map. I pick up everything and use the mini map constantly and sometimes it can get rather congested and that little square that shows the item you can pick up is kinda hard to see or make out. It would be a lot easier if it was colored so it could be easier to see on the map. It already shows on the map, I would just like an option to give it a little color to make them easier to see. It doesn't matter what color really only that it needs to be an option to turn on or off in case some one doesn't want to use it. Thanks.
