DE contends that we won't report the bug.

 

I contend that I can't accurately tell you what tileset, or location I was in. I can't send a screenshot, because I'm falling through the abyss. Or I fell down that stupid round room area and keep recovering in a location that's unrecoverable.

 

How about I just hit a button, it gets me 'unstuck' it sends a report as to where I was..

 

You take that information, you data mine the hell out of it, (outsource it to the nutjobs over at reddit, they'll triangulate them if you can't..)

 

I keep going my merry way.

 

I don't have to type up some nebulous 'bug report' about some place I fell.

 

We're all happy.

 

And besides..what's to stop someone from reporting the bug if they do use an /unstuck. That same person is going to report the location one way or another.

game sends information to de about were you are stuck/fell through the world.

I had this happen once.

 

I must admit, it was very annoying, and would be rather upset if it happened to me more often.

 

I just can't believe it doesn't assume you dead and re-spawn you like if you fall down one of the intended gaps.

I most certainly agree.

 

Send a X/Y/Z coordinate and cell # when used. I honestly do not see how this would be exploitable. Merely teleport you to the last "legit" spot, just as if you jumped down a hole.

Wanna know the first MMO I played that featured a /stuck command? City of Heroes, and I think it was released in 2003/very early 2004.
