ValhaHazred
Why are you assuming the Braton has the same power as a modern assault rifle? I don't see an M16 chewing through 8 foot tall cyborgs, giant robots or space cancer zombies the way a Braton can. If Technocyte is even half as good as CNT(a modern, if very expensive armour material) the Braton would need 6 times the firepower of an M16 to even scratch an Infested. Saenol
that's some mighty powerful Orokin tech there, lol. a gun that shoots the equivalent of 5.56x45mm, at a high rate of fire, with mediocre accuracy, and a higher than average magazine. if that's what we should expect from Orokin tech o.0 maybe i'd rather build my own guns, lmao. i thought Orokin tech was supposed to be from a forgotten race / age from some super advanced people and blah blah. the Braton is effectively an M16, so where's the 'super advanced'? ;) Most societies are going to have some sort of historical progression with regards to technology. A triple stage, multi-megaton, fission-fusion-fission, thermonuclear weapon that fits comfortably in a 5 gallon bucket is Human technology...but so is a stone knife. A Braton could easily be an earlier or more commonplace example of Orokin technology. Not that I think the game necessarily implies that the Braton is Orokin. Why are you assuming the Braton has the same power as a modern assault rifle? I don't see an M16 chewing through 8 foot tall cyborgs, giant robots or space cancer zombies the way a Braton can. Not really possible to compare real weapons to Warframe weapons in this manner, as the later is a game with limitations and abilities that would be completely inexplicable in the real world. As for technocyte, Runners and Leapers have no armor at all.
PaperAlien
...you know primes are not limited to tenno weapons and that it could be quite a while before a prime version of it does come out right? Orthos?

Then I guess the Braton is 100x as powerful as a M16 (jk :P) I do agree that it's impossible to really compare Warframe's weapons with real world counterparts but it's the distant Space!Future, so I'm willing to bet they're significantly better. I was just annoyed by that individual saying it was worse than a gun from the Vietnam War. Being worse than Vietnam is Halo's job dang it!
