My opinions on bounties/incursions

So, first of all I'd like to say that Plains of Eidolon has certainly been a very interesting update, lots of new content, and of course, lots of new grind, grinding for quills rep, grinding for cetus rep, grinding for the new resources/mods, and grinding the willpower to stop fishing.

Quite a bit of the content(and as a direct result of this, a lot of the grind as well) is brought to the player by way of bounties and incursions, which is fine, it makes sense, I started off actually really liking those missions, but, as time drags on, and as I find myself having less things I want from them they start feeling.... dull and frustrating,(hopefully that reward every stage thing that DE talked about will help with that.) I do hope there are plans for more mission types to show up in bounties and incursions since as of right now we have murder,(eliminate nearby enemies) murder until big guy(or gal, or dargyn) shows up(assassinate), murder and then murder reinforcements for like 3 minutes straight(liberate), basically just a capture mission(I don't need to say this, do I?), drone escort(with a side of murder), grab some caches, murder, so you can murder supplies, murder, so that you can find the datamass to start a defense mission, murder guards and then rescue a prisoner, and I think that's it, may have forgotten one or two.

I'll be honest, I actually loathe seeing a couple of these missions pop up, either due to certain annoyances with enemy spawns, how slow they are, or both. (please make it so that the tesla camp with a huge cave liberation mission doesn't have half of the enemies spawn in the cave anymore.)

On the other hand, the missions that don't feel too slow, are actually good fun, personally I enjoy the drone escort, capture, rescue, supply caches, and assassinate missions the most.

Now, that about does it for my opinions on these things, so, what can be done to make these feel better to me and people like me?

Well, for one thing, I'd like to have all of the bounty's missions(aside from the final one, which we would still be gathering intel for with all the other missions) show up at the beginning, this will reduce backtracking to the same camps, allow us players to pick and choose which objectives we want done in which order, and, also, slightly speed up the bounties.

Another thing is, of course, faster objectives.(more enemy spawns on the supply sabotage, assassinate, and eliminate nearby enemies, less defense/liberation time, etc.)

Speeding up the rate of incursions will also help as they feel a bit too slow to me, always having one active during the day would be very nice.(granted, that would probably be a bit ridiculous)

Well, I guess that just about does it, kinda drawing a blank on what else could be done, aside from a token system for rewards, but the reward per stage could eliminate the need for that, and if you made it all the way through that, thanks for reading, and have a nice day/night/whatever.

Aaaaaaand I just realized this isn't the PoE subforum, good job me.

Pretty much agree with all this. The reward tables for the Incursions really need some loving too, I mean, 2% chance for a single Maprico. Really? Plus, the defense and liberation timers are just way too long. The rewards simply don't justify the time spent. Maybe, the new reward system they talked about might be able to fix it, but I remain sceptical.
