Alliances that aren't PvP focused could use some love

Since the solar rails armistice, alliances have lost a lot of relevance outside the community aspect.

It just seems that clans within an alliance should be able to interact in more ways than just chat. Whether it be depositing spare resources to help each other out with research (can even impose a tax like with trading if you must) or something like an Alliance hall that all alliance members can interact in without specifically being invited to (every clan can build a "portal" that grants access to the shared "hub") would give Alliances a lot more relevance outside of PvP (which a lot of warframe players aren't really interested in anyway... if conclave stats are any indicator)

Something else that could have Alliance potential is the clan challenge\training room that was being worked on prior to PoE (i forget its name but warlords could set mission parameters to train\test members). If this could be expanded to allow Alliance-level missions (and is a leader board asking too much?), that would give Alliances like mine loads to do in-between content drops and foster some healthy rivalry between clans! We're already holding alliance competitions, but having to manage it outside the game and ensuring that everyone plays fairly is a fair bit of work.

What do you think, should Alliances be more than PvP?
