I keep getting kicked from joining others in doing a mission

Since I came back to playing this game and spent around $150 bucks (I don't regret it, this is such a good game that I support) I am now at a point of just quitting from joining any groups for missions since I always get migrated from the group when my friends didn't even kick me out of the group or anything (not even sure if kicking from a group is even possible?) my computer lags with missions on earth, I guess with all the foliage and greenery details, yet any other missions on other planets not so much (on custom or low graphic settings) could this be the problem? my computer just isn't fast enough or something? It seems like a bug since it has not stopped from doing this over and over, and when I finally get lucky and get in a group to play with, no lag or problems, whats the deal?could I get some help?
