Desperately they clutch for me, but I have many allies. Bugs, Crashes, and the Internet Troll; all come to my call when the Developer comes too close. I throw obstacles in their path to divert their tracks and lead them into a dark spiral of emotional torment. In my place, Fatigue and Despair enter to finish off my prey, but these Developers are strong. With iron will and the typed word, they hunt me, slaying my allies with the Hotfix and Forum Post alike. They may sometimes falter, but for every one knocked down, two more step in to pick them up. Relentless are my pursuers, dealing with my traps and illusions with brutal, swift efficiency. Their dedication is their greatest weapon, and one day they will find me and know rest. But on this night, perhaps this week or year, I am still out of their reach.
