Lanka Multishot

Ok, so Ive been running a few missions with my new lanka, and got my maxed split chamber in it. However, I cant see any extra damage? It only counts 1 shot, ALL the time. I tried to look on the wiki, and there seems to be a discussion about this but with no solid answer.

 

So, does multishot work with lanka? If yes, why do I never see any extra damage numbers?

Are you one-shotting everything? If so then you're not seeing more numbers because those hits are not registering.

Well its not fully modded yet, so I dont 1 hit 60+ ancients. On those I didnt see any additional numbers. Only from the normal shot, and from cryo rounds.

It works, I have killed to enemies with one trigger pull with the Lanka and multi-shot on it. First bullets gibs one then the second hits another, it works extra well.
