People should at least keep all the Eidolon Shards(including Bril and Rad) when aborting mission, in fact, keep all loot from the plains.

What's the difference between leaving squad, then extracting and aborting mission? Nothing, so why not keep everything when aborting. There's no mission going on during Eidolon fight.

There are bugs and host migration that could either take away your valuables or stop you from extracting.
